In the USA and, to a lesser extent, in Europe, some sciences are the victims of serious restrictions on academic freedom. Beyond the sciences, these attacks call into question notions of democracy, the rule of law, human rights and freedom of information. Speakers are:

Frédérique Coulée, Professor of International Law and Deputy Vice-President of the Université Paris-Saclay for the Humanities and Social Sciences,
Paul Leadley, Professor of ecology, American national, member of
IBPES
(the IPCC of biodiversity),
Bruno Lansard, Senior lecturer in climatology and oceanography at the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin, member of the LSCE laboratory. LSCE is heavily involved in
the
IPCC
,
Maela Semery and Lucas Jacquier, PhD students at the Institut Diversité, Ecologie, Evolution du Vivant. The Institute’s name is on the banned word list in the USA.
