IDEEV takes part in International Biodiversity Day

IDEEV is proud to be taking part in International Biodiversity Day   , Thursday 22 May 2025.

Many of IDEEV’s research themes are directly linked to the study of biodiversity, with the common thread being the origin, maintenance and evolution of biodiversity at different levels of integration of living organisms. This involves in particular the study of adaptations to environmental changes, whether man-made or not. The many staff at IDEEV work on the entire living world, producing documents and taking part in events for the general public:

• Formation à la transition écologique des cadres de l’Etat   , présentée au public lors de la Fête de la Science 2024

• L’effondrement de la biodiversité   , débat à l’Académie des sciences

• Ecologie : complexité, paradoxe et holisme   , leçon inaugurale de Franck Courchamp au Collège de France

• L’héritage du dodo   , bande dessinée de vulgarisation scientifique sur le changement climatique et la perte de biodiversité

• Vers de terre : à la conquête des terres émergées   , événement grand public
