L’équipe “Evolution et génomes” est intéressée par l’évolution de la structure et fonction des génomes, à l’échelle des cellules, des organismes des populations ou des espèces.

Domaines d’étude

Evolution du génome à travers les interactions intra et intergénomiques: transferts horizontaux, polyploïdisation, évolution des éléments génétiques mobiles, conflits génétiques, génétique évolutive et évolution moléculaire. Facteurs génétiques and épigénétiques en évolution et adaptation. Etude des transferts horizontaux et des interactions symbiotiques. Plus des études plus appliquées comme l’étude du génome des insectes comestibles.

Approches expérimentales

Nous développons et combinons un éventail d’approches tant traditionnelles que très récentes en génétique moléculaire, génomique et transcriptomique, bioinformatique, mathématiques et évolution expérimentale pour répondre à nos questions.
